Motif Textiles & Designs is a textiles printing studio started by Sarah Michaels in 2013. Products range from custom baby wear and blankets, kitchen and dining linens, to wall art for residential and commercial spaces. Sarah's hand drawn designs have a consistent Victorian and nostalgic inspiration and are screen printed in small batches on natural materials.
artist statement
Graduating from OCAD University with a B.Des in Material Art and Design, my training and work ranges from textiles, drawing and painting, to photography and graphic design. My design sensibilities bring aspects of handmade qualities that are modernized using post-production methods.
